Is there a pesky light on your dashboard that you can’t figure out how to get to go off? Well, it’s as important as it is pesky. There are a number of these warning lights and they all indicate different things.
We at Frontier Ford understand just how important those warning lights on your car are, and that is why we’ve compiled this short list of the different lights, what they indicate, and how to fix the issues.
They are:
- Brake system warning - This is commonly symbolized by a circle enclosing an exclamation point. This symbol indicates several possible issues including low brake fluid and a problem with anti-lock brake system.
- Transmission temperature warning - If this light turns on, a fluid service is advisable.
- Oil pressure warning - This light indicates low oil levels and generally warrants an oil change or top-up.
