The current Maverick for 2022 is going to be a compact pickup truck. Ford has been working on it for several years now and is scheduled for release in the fall of 2021. It's an entirely new design, so there's a lot to check out.
2022 Ford Maverick Trims & Features
There are going to be three different Ford Maverick trim levels available for the 2022 model year. This includes the XL trim level, the base model, the XLT trim level, and the Lariat. If you're trying to keep pricing to a minimum but still want some great features, opt for the XLT. You'll get 17-inch aluminum wheels, a power locking tailgate, cruise control, and power mirrors on the exterior. A turbocharged engine is an available upgrade for the XLT that comes with all wheel drive. The XL trim level still has plenty of features if you're on a budget.
2022 Ford Maverick Horsepower
The standard engine inclusion is a 2.5 liter, four-cylinder engine that provides 191 horsepower, with an included electric motor for all trim levels. The standard inclusion is front-wheel drive with a continuously variable transmission. You can choose a non-hybrid powertrain package that includes a 2.0 liter, four-cylinder engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Safety is the priority of many manufacturers such as Ford. There are a number of safety features included with all trim levels, such as automatic emergency braking. In addition, you can add on other safety features at your discretion, like lane departure warning technology, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control.
