What's New For the 2020 Ford Fusion?
Comfort meets style in the brand new 2020 Ford Fusion. Brand new upscale materials make for a more plush interior, a quieter cabin, and more standard features than in previous years. Ford did away with the Sport trim V6 option for 2020 to make way for a more suitable line of trims that offer features that more closely coincide with the reputation of the Fusion. The result is a trim lineup that's full of power, upscale materials on the interior, and broader tech features. Ford recently announced that this might be the last Ford Fusion they make, so get it while you can. What else does Ford have in store for the Fusion's potential grand finale?

2020 Fusion Trims & Variations
Four spacious trims of Ford Fusion are available in 2020. You get the S, SE, SEL, and Titanium, with the S being the base model trim and the Titanium being the top of the line trim. Features will vary greatly by trim. Some people will want just the basics, others prefer the two mid-level trims that are a bit up from the rest, and still, others will only drive away with the Titanium, a model that represents all of the highest options on the Fusion. Among these features, you'll find a few that stand out:
- Â Â Â Â
- A distinctive grille that stands out    Â
- Leather-wrapped steering wheel option    Â
- Rotary gear shift    Â
- Heated and cooled driver and passenger seating    Â
- 18-inch Ebony Black-painted aluminum wheels and Halogen fog lamps available with SE appearance package
The SE AWD appearance package kicks things up still more with 18-inch machined-face aluminum wheels with Magnetic-painted pockets and premium floor liners for an interior appearance that far exceeds anything you'd expect in this price range. Ford has always known how to throw in little touches that truly make the Fusion something special, but they've outdone themselves with the 2020 Ford Fusion. It's a cut above its competitors and outboxes its own shadow in this perhaps final year of existence. Don't forget, there's also an EV plug-in hybrid version of the Fusion that promises to up efficiency for those people looking for the best gas mileage.
How does the 2020 Ford Fusion Engine Balance Power Needs and Fuel Economy?
Your base model Fusion S comes with a 175 horsepower 2.5-liter I-4 engine. Two other EcoBoost engine options are available: a 1.5-liter I-4 engine rated at 181 horsepower and a 2.0-liter I-4 premium gas engine that ranks at an impressive 245 horsepower. One of your SE trims will offer this, and your Titanium trim will offer the upgraded engine for a more robust driving experience.
Packed with Safety Features
Enjoy a smart safety menu that includes the standard Ford Co-Pilot360 safety system for a powerful suite of safety features that make your vehicle better able to respond to any driving errors. Rear View Camera, Lane-Keeping System, and Auto High-Beam headlights are just three of the remarkable features that make up this basic safety system. If that's basic, imagine all the other advanced features Ford is tossing in!
