If you're planning to go on a road trip, especially a long one, be sure to bring lots of activities to do and to keep yourself occupied along the way. Bring your favorite tunes and books on tape. If you're travelling with little ones, be sure to bring lot of activities for them to do. If you don't, you will surely lose your mind by the time you reach your destination. Plan to stop along the way. You will need to get gas and use the restroom anyway, so why not make it fun? Stop at some attractions along the way to keep things fun and interesting. You'll get more pictures for the album and maybe even a souvenir or two. Be sure to keep friends and family posted so they don't worry and also for safety reasons. If anything ever were to happen, you will be easier to track down.
