The Ford F-Series Super Duty line is receiving a full update for the 2017 model year, including several heavy-duty updates that are sure to impress those looking for new work trucks in Santa Clara.

A Tough New Exterior

The all-new Super Duty will get a brand-new exterior frame in 2017 that will be made up of impeccable high-strength steel. Thanks to this new body frame, the truck is now much more rigid than past incarnations, which affords the Super Duty greater towing capabilities. The truck will also follow in the 2015 F-150’s footsteps by featuring aluminum-alloy that will provide extra fuel economy, added performance and increased damage resistance.

Increased Power Under the Hood

The Super Duty's performance also gets a boost from three exceptional powertrains, including a 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel engine, a 6.2-liter V8 gas engine and a 6.8-liter V10 gas engine. Additionally, the truck’s V8 gas engine works with a brand-new TorqShift-G transmission that offers even more performance and efficiency.

Innovative Interior

The Super Duty’s interior will also see a lot of changes in 2017. New innovative tech will show up in the hauler, including LED cargo box lights, adaptive cruise control, quad-beam LED head- and taillights, adaptive steering and LED side-view mirror spotlights. The truck will also get Ford’s newly updated SYNC 3 infotainment system, as well as several new cameras for easier towing.
