The City of Santa Clara is hosting one of the most exciting Super Bowls ever this year: Super Bowl 50! In celebration of a half century of football’s greatest game, Santa Clara is holding a “Super Community” event this January. This latest event, called “Run the Road,” is a wonderful way to kick off the start of the Super Bowl.

To be held on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, “Run the Road” will feature a 10K, 5K and Kids Fun Run that participants can both run and walk in. All you have to do is click here to register. The 5K race starts at 8 a.m. on Sunday morning, while the 10K will start a short time later at 8:45 a.m. Finally, the Kids Race will commence at 10:20 a.m.

We are very proud that our city will host such an unforgettable event this year and we hope everyone will come out with their neighbors to help Santa Clara celebrate the upcoming 50th annual Super Bowl. And be sure to hang around after the race as there will be a post-race tailgate party with tons of food, drinks and football!
