The Santa Clara Culture Commission and Whole Foods Market are partnering together to present an exciting, new event to the community: “The Noodle Cook-Off.”
Held on Saturday, May 20, 2017, the Noodle Cook-Off is sure to be a fun afternoon filled with delicious food, various local vendors, prizes, activities for the kids and live entertainment. This event is in honor of Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month and will see several teams compete to produce the best Asian-Fusion noodle recipe.
Winners of the competition will receive a Whole Foods shopping spree, with the winning recipe getting its own in-store display for an entire week.
Judges at this year’s cook-off will include:
- Kansen Chu, Assemblyman for District 25
- Sukhi Singh, Sukhi’s Indian Cuisine
- Wilf Seymor, Director of Food and Beverage at California’s Great America
The “Noodle Cook-Off” will be held at the Whole Foods Market on Augustine Drive, starting at 3 p.m. The first 100 attendees who register for the event will receive a bag and will be entered to win $25 Whole Foods Market gift cards.
The event is free to attend, so don’t forget to add this fun, local Santa Clara event to your calendars this May!
