The Ford EcoSport has been chosen by Star Lord, Gamora, Drax, Groot and even Rocket to be the official vehicle of their latest adventure: “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.”
This means that the newest model from Ford will be featured in a variety of ads that will push customers to “Be the Guardian of Your Galaxy,” while also taking part in an exclusive digital comic (cover below) that will feature the SUV.
“EcoSport is our smallest SUV, designed for active customers who need a compact, connected vehicle that enables richer experiences with family and friends,” said Chantel Lenard, executive director, Ford U.S. marketing. “Teaming up with Marvel is a perfect way to share how EcoSport turns every drive into a chance to live big, enabling our Earth-bound customers to experience as many adventures as ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ offers.”
One of the other ways that Ford is partnering with Marvel is to give customers a few fun “interactive elements” like a special Guardian Builder that allows people to create their own Guardian character.
