The Ford Fusion has been redesigned for 2017, adding huge boosts to technology, and safety over the outgoing model.

Previous iterations of the Fusion have been rated as "acceptable" in small-overlap crash tests by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, since the test was first given on the 2013 model. While acceptable is, as the name implies, an acceptable rating, it is not the best possible rating a vehicle could earn, "good."

The Ford Escape, one of the most popular SUVs in the country, recently received a model refresh.
