America's best-selling truck, the Ford F-150, continues to prove why it stands proudly at the forefront of the full-size pickup segment. Back in action this year, the 2016 Ford F-150 in Santa Clara offers several new features that truck enthusiasts will find appealing. All-new Pro Trailer Backup Assist is the most talked about technology available on the new F-150. Offered exclusively on the pickup, the new system allows drivers to easily steer a trailer by simply turning a knob in the direction they want the trailer to go. Vehicle speed is also limited during the process in an effort to prevent accidents. In addition to Pro Trailer Backup Assist, the 2016 F-150 also offers Special Edition Packages for the XLT and Lariat. Equipped with unique body graphics, special edition seats with Alcantara inserts, 20-inch dark-painted aluminum wheels with red sport lettering and smoked headlights, the package options add extra flair to the F-150.
Once again this year the 2016 Ford F-150 in Santa Clara can be fitted with three different engines: a 3.5L V6, turbocharged 2.7L V6 and 5.0L V8. In an effort to better suit drivers, the 5.0L V8 can now be paired with the gaseous fuel prep package that allows the truck to run on propane or natural gas. The 2016 F-150 is the only light-duty pickup of its kind to have this ability, making it a prime choice for drivers in need of this unique setup.
