The Ford Mustang is back for 2017 and virtually unchanged. Offered in coupe and convertible, the standard 2017 Ford Mustang in Santa Clara once again offers first-rate performance, a collection of high-end features, state-of-the-art technologies and all of the qualities you've come to love of the legendary pony car. The standard 2017 Ford Mustang in Santa Clara is offered in five trims: V6, EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT and GT Premium. It has a variety of excellent features on a number of its models, including Bluetooth, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless ignition/entry, heated seats, automatic wipers, Recaro seats and premium interior materials designed for luxury.
The GT350 gets a new Electronics package and Convenience package this year, which come with everything from a navigation system and satellite radio to leather upholstery and six-way power sport front seats. The components offered on the Track package have also become standard this year, an added perk.
3.7L V6 - Fitted on the base Mustang, this engine delivers 300 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque.
Turbo 2.3L Four-Cylinder - Standard on the EcoBoost and EcoBoost Premium, the 2.3L four-cylinder generates 310 horsepower and 320 lb.-ft. of torque.
5.0L V8 - The 5.0L V8 is outfitted on the Mustang GT models. It offers 435 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque.
5.2L V8 - Producing 526 horsepower and 429 lb.-ft. of torque, the V8 comes paired with a six-speed manual transmission that backs the engine's power offerings.
All standard versions of the Mustang are matched with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic with paddle shifters.
Antilock brakes, traction and stability control, airbags and a rearview camera can be found on the Mustang. Noted in several 2017 Ford Mustang reviews, forward collision alert, blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic alert and adaptive cruise control are offered on GT and EcoBoost Premium models.
