What's New For the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport?
The Ford Bronco Sport is a new off-road vehicle positioned as a smaller alternative to the Bronco. Although it's made to handle off-road adventures, the Ford Bronco Sport does not have a bare-bones interior. Instead, it has several creature comforts and safety aids that make it popular for daily use. Several engines are available for the Bronco Sport, along with mechanical features that make it adept for tackling the trails, including four-wheel drive, several traction settings to plow through all types of terrain, and numerous available off-road enhancements.
2021 Bronco Sport Trims & Features
There are five trim levels of the Ford Bronco Sport, starting with the base model. The base is ready for daily driving and off-road adventure with four-wheel drive as a standard drivetrain. It also comes with multiple driving modes and a safari roof. The base trim has class-leading cargo capacity as well. The base trim includes Ford's Sync 3 infotainment system with enhanced voice recognition and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, a 4.2-inch instrument cluster, moonroofs, four USB ports, and a package of safety features in the Ford CoPilot360 package. The next trim is the Big Bend. This trim level has a few more rugged elements, including rear floodlights and a special cloth interior that's easier to clean. Keyless entry is added as well.
The Outer Banks trim follows with 18-inch aluminum wheels. It also has a black roof and a two-tone exterior color scheme. Black-painted wheels are standard. Inside, the seating material is upgraded to leather. With the Badlands trim, you'll get a choice of 17-inch carbonized wheels with different styling designs. The powertrain is upgraded to advanced four-wheel drive. The top trim level of the Bronco Sport is the First Edition. Unique exterior details distinguish this trim from the rest. It also gets a remote start system, metal bash plates, front tow hooks, carbon gray grille, a power moonroof, and a wireless charging pad.

2021 Ford Bronco Sport Horsepower
There are two engines for the Ford Bronco Sport, depending on the trim level that you choose. The base engine is a 1.5L three-cylinder with a power output of 181 HP and a torque output of 191 LB-FT. You can get a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine with a higher power output of 245 HP and 275 LB-FT of torque starting with the Badlands. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed transmission. Towing capacity is between 2,000 and 2,200 pounds.
Bronco Sport Safety
The Bronco Sport is equipped with Ford's CoPilot360 safety system with forward-collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assistance, and automatic emergency braking. You can also add traffic sign recognition and adaptive cruise control.
