What's New for the 2022 Ford F-150

The all-new Ford F-150 for 2022 comes packed with new features and improvements. The most significant change is the new PowerBoost hybrid powertrain, which offers more power and better fuel economy than the previous model. It also has a new center console and a larger infotainment screen.

The new grille design is the most noticeable change to the exterior of the Ford F-150 for 2022. In addition, the headlights have also been updated, and the tailgate has been revised.

2022 Ford F-150 Trims & Features

The Ford F-150 for 2022 is available in six different trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited.

The base XL trim comes standard with 17-inch steel wheels, a rearview camera, manual climate control, fabric upholstery, and a four-speaker audio system.

The XLT trim adds LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, a power-adjustable driver's seat, satellite radio, and an upgraded infotainment system with Ford's SYNC 3 software.

The Lariat trim comes standard with 20-inch wheels, chrome exterior trim, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, remote start, and an upgraded infotainment system with Ford's SYNC 3 software and navigation.

The King Ranch trim adds 22-inch wheels, unique exterior and interior trim details, a sunroof, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and a premium Bang & Olufsen audio system.

The Platinum trim comes standard with LED headlights, chrome exterior trim, a power-sliding rear window, front and rear parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and a premium Bang & Olufsen audio system.

The Limited trim is the top-of-the-line trim and comes standard with LED headlights, chrome exterior trim, a power-sliding rear window, front and rear parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and a premium Bang & Olufsen audio system.

2022 Ford F-150 Horsepower

The base engine for the Ford F-150 for 2022 is a 3.3-liter V6 that produces 290 horsepower and 265 lb.-ft of torque.

The next step is a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 325 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft of torque.

The third engine option is a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 that produces 375 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft of torque.

The fourth engine option is a 5.0-liter V8 that produces 395 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft of torque.

The fifth engine option is a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel V6 that produces 250 horsepower and 440 lb.-ft of torque.

The top engine option is a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 paired with an electric motor for a total output of 430 horsepower and 570 lb.-ft of torque.
