What's New For the 2021 Ford F-150?

The all-new 2021 Ford F-150 is redesigned to be the toughest in its class with unmatched towing and power capabilities, digital technologies, and interior amenities catered to productivity. This light-duty pickup offers six powertrains, including the all-new 3.5L PowerBoost full hybrid V6 engine that adds instant electric torque. Other features on the 2021 F-150 will include the SYNC®4 infotainment system with available 12-inch touchscreen, optional interior work surface, and Pro Power Onboard - an integrated power generator.

2021 Ford F-150 Trims & Features

There are six different trim levels to choose from. The base model includes the XL. From there, it increases to the XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited rounding out the Ford F-150 options.

What you choose depends on what you need from a vehicle. The base model XL comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display, SYNC®4, and wireless connection. Moving up in trim includes upgraded options in features and amenities, such as a 12-inch touchscreen in the XLT, climate-controlled front seats in the King Ranch, and luxurious touches in the highest-level Limited trim. The Limited also offers class-leading entertainment with an 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen Unleashed system with speakers in the front headrest and headliner as a standard feature.

2021 Ford F-150 Horsepower

There are a few different engine options available for the F-150. There is a 3.3-liter V6, a 5.0-liter V8, a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6, and a 3.0-liter diesel V6 engine. All of these options are exceptional when it comes to power. Regardless of the engine you select, you get a 10-speed automatic transmission. You can also upgrade to include a hybrid powertrain. If you're looking for optimal horsepower and torque, this is the way to go. You'll even get 700 miles of driving per tank of fuel.

Ford F-150 Safety

For the 2021 model year, Ford includes a number of beneficial safety features as standard. A rear-facing camera is available for easy trailer monitoring. Active Drive Assist is likely to make its way onto the F-150 this model year. You'll get automated emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warnings, and lane-keep assist. You can also upgrade your vehicle to have adaptive cruise control.
