What's New For the 2021 Ford Mustang?
In 2021, the Ford Mustang comes with more power from its engines, including a four-cylinder and a V8. The cabin includes modern amenities with retro styling as well. For 2021, Ford brings back the Mach 1, with its special styling featuring a unique front end and black stripes on the hood and sides. The Mustang now has more driver aids, including the CoPilot360 suite of amenities. Despite its impressive power, the Mustang has surprisingly low ambient and interior noise levels. The Mustang can be equipped with a new package this year: the Performance Pack with a spoiler, front splitter, and lower diffuser. There are new intakes for the Mustang in 2021, and it comes with some improvements in the steering system.
Which Features Are Available for 2021?
The Mustang comes in five trim levels in 2021. The first trim is the EcoBoost, followed by the EcoBoost Premium. Next come the GT trims, which are the regular GT and the GT Premium. At the top is the Mach 1 trim level. The EcoBoost has a 460 keyless entry, a 4.2-inch center display screen, and a sound system with six speakers. There is also a standard 4G WiFi hotspot. With the EcoBoost Premium, you will also get leather upholstery, unique cabin trim, a nine-speaker sound system, and a larger eight-inch display screen with Sync 3 infotainment.
The GT adds parking sensors, while the GT Premium includes a performance package with special tire and brake upgrades. The Mach 1 trim comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a more powerful engine.

Featuring Great Performance
The highlight in power for the Ford Mustang in 2021 is the new engine that comes with the Mach 1 trim level. The Mach 1's engine produces an impressive 480 HP. The other engines carry over from the year before. They include the 5.0L V8 engines on the GT models that deliver 460 HP and the 2.3L engine for the base trim that produces 310 HP. There is also a high-performance package offered for the 5.0L V8 engine with a 20 HP boost in power.
Safety Features in the Forefront for 2021
The Ford Mustang gets adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, and forward-collision warning as its primary safety amenities in 2021.
