The 2020 Ford Edge is a leading midsize sport utility vehicle. It is currently ranked as the third-best vehicle in its class. For the new 2020 model, there will be a couple of changes. With the new 2020 Ford Edge, the vehicle will now feature dual-zone automatic climate control on every trim. It will also discontinue the CD player option, so consumers will need to rely on MP3 files and their smartphones to listen to music. This year's version is part of the second generation of the vehicle that was first introduced in 2015.
With the 2020 Ford Edge, there are four trim levels. These trim levels include the SE, SEL, Titanium, and the ST. The SE trim is the base model and includes standard features such as 18-inch wheels, a rearview camera, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and reclining rear seatbacks. The SUV also includes a six-speaker sound system, an 8-inch touchscreen, USB ports, and smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Audio.
The SEL adds some more features such as adjustable power seats, leather upholstery, and a leather steering wheel. It also offers heated seats, a navigation system, an improved sound system, and safety features such as evasive steering assist and adaptive cruise control.
A Titanium trim provides luxury features such as noise-reducing front windows, leather seating, and front sport seats. The ST is the top trim level and includes features such as a standard turbo V6 engine, sport-tuned suspension, leather seats, a sporty interior, and improved steering.
When it comes to horsepower, the 2020 Ford Edge has an amount that is above average for its class. The current year model will have 245 horsepower, which is higher than most sport utility vehicles. With this amount of horsepower, the vehicle can allow drivers to move down roads with ease quickly. Due to this amount of horsepower, the Ford Edge can also move up and down rugged terrain with little effort as well. The SE, SEL, and Titanium trims come with 250 horsepower, and the ST models come with 335 horsepower. Therefore, the Ford Edge is a good vehicle to purchase if you are looking for a sport utility vehicle with plenty of power and performance.
The 2020 Ford Edge will include all of the safety features that come standard with all other vehicles. These features will include stability control, adaptive cruise control, tire pressure monitoring, traction control, and a rearview camera. This sport utility vehicle will also include an anti-theft system in order to help prevent the vehicle from getting stolen.
Along with these standard safety features, the new 2020 Ford Edge will also offer additional safety features that make up a few distinct systems. One of the notable systems is the Evasive Steering Assist, which helps drivers avoid any front collision by providing a steering input in order to make an emergency maneuver. It also features Enhanced Active Park Assist, which actively steers the vehicle in and out of any parking spot that is either perpendicular or parallel.
